Happy 2018 and welcome to Budapest

Happy 2018! Everyone knows my love of travelling and why would 2018 be any different?

I managed to last a few hours of 2018 without having a trip booked. My lovely friend offered to look after Shiloh for me so I decided to book a weekend away.

I went straight onto Expedia and managed to find a trip to Budapest leaving the Friday coming.

Many people ask me how I have so much annual leave to travel as much as I do. Usually when I go away for the weekend, it’s literally that - the weekend.

Friday after work, I got the train from Blackfriars and headed to Luton airport. I don’t think I’ve ever flown from Luton before and to be honest, I doubt I’ll fly from there again.

You’d think each airport is the same but honestly what a dive! It’s chaotic, it’s messy, it smells - it’s just gross. Even in the airport lounge wasn’t particular nice.

When I was at the airport, I realised I’d forgotten to pack my phone charger. Luckily I went to Dixon and bought a new one. Sadly that cost £26 - not impressed considering they only few quid on eBay.

Next up I headed to the gate when I discovered my flight was delayed. At the same point I realised I left my scarf in the airport lounge.

They say things come in three’s so I figured I’d had mine (1. Phone charger, 2. Delayed flight. 3. Forgotten scarf). Sadly not, I arrived at Budapest airport and called my transfer to be told I'd have to wait an hour before someone could come get me because I’d missed the shuttle. At 01:15 I figured screw this so I hopped in a taxi.

I woke up at 7:30am Saturday as I had booked a tour of the parliament building for 9:15am. After only about 5 hours still, it was pretty hard getting up.

After wandering the streets, and thanks to Virgin for the ability to use my phone (and google maps) in Europe free of charge, I stumbled across the stunning parliament building.

The parliament building in Budapest is the second largest parliament in Europe and the third largest in the World. It’s a very impressive building.

Here is a view of the stunning building from across the river.

Our tour guide was very informative and funny. He explained the architecture and the amount of gold used within the building.

We saw the precious Crown Jewels of a very historic king (history isn’t my strong point but shiny things are). These were protected by two regal guards who were keeping a very close eye on me (it was extremely unnerving this man constantly shifting his gaze to look my way).

After the tour, it was time to find some breakfast. I had a coffee and biscuit before the tour but I was pretty hungry by now, and no one wants to be hungry in Hungary (sorry I couldn’t resist!).

I headed over the other side of the river and found a nice upmarket cafe. I choose the traditional breakfast and a pot of tea. It was more brunch time now.

After brunch, I walked up to the castle. The view point over the city was stunning. It was pretty overcast this morning but slowly it burned off and lovely blue sky crept through.

Whenever I travel, I just wing it really. I don’t like to plan too much. I like to walk, look at a sign post or check trip advisor for ‘near me’ and go from there. That’s exactly what I did here.

There were a few places I wanted to visit such as Fisherman’s Bastion, Matthias  church and Castle Hill. They were all fairly close by so I simply walked.

I love finding the most traditional places to eat and drink when I’m away. I found a lovely restaurant and stopped for a refreshing local beer. They were playing beautiful live music. A violin and another instrument I’m really not sure what it is?!

Next place I wanted to visit was the Magic fountains in Margaret Island. It was 3.5km from where I was but I figured I’d walk there. I finally got there to discover it was closed. I had read a few trip advisor reviews before that said it was closed but I’d managed to forget that - opps.

It was time for a late lunch. Again I found a local cafeteria style restaurant and literally just pointed at something. It was beef goulash with some odd white stuff. I literally have no idea whether it was some pasta/potato or even flour based thing. It was nice but very filling.

I decided to head back to the hotel for a nap. I was pretty exhausted from all the walking and lack of sleep.

After my nap, it was time to head to the opera. I’d packed a new dress for the occasion, it was only cheap but still nice. When I put the dress on, I managed to break the zip. I was pretty annoyed as I wanted to look nice but I had to put my white jeans and stripy blouse on.

When I arrived at the theatre (another 2.5km walk), I felt a little out of place. Not everyone was super dressed up (expect for the stunning blonde girl in the floor length pink dress) but I was definitely the only person out of hundreds in white jeans - opps.

I’d decided to book a box ticket. It literally cost under £10. I had the whole box to myself. The view was fantastic.

I saw The Gypsy Baron. Thanks to the sub titles, I managed to follow along. It was very long - 3.5 hours. The plus to this was the two interval breaks and the glasses of champagne for roughly £6.

On my walk back towards the hotel, I found a lovely restaurant for dinner. Rose restaurant was another traditional restaurant with live music and plenty of locals. I had a lovely meal of salmon, gnocchi with spinach. Not exactly traditional Hungarian but it looked too good not to choose.

I was back at the hotel tucked up in bed by 11pm. I really wanted to go see parliament building at night however I was far too tired to head there again. I ended up walking just under 32,000 steps. That’s probably the most I’ve ever walked in a day.

I had a little bit of a lay in and woke up at 8am. I wanted to head to the Szechenyi thermal baths. It was 3.5km away so I decided to walk. It was so foggy but on my way, I walked past a memorial which included a section of the Berlin Wall. That’s why I love walking as you see these random things.

When I got to the spa, it was buzzing with locals already. I got there about 9:45am. I headed straight outside to the pool. A lovely temperature of 38 degrees allowed me to sit outside for nearly an hour.

It was the perfect morning to sit, reflect and manifest the life I want. I’m very blessed with the life I have but I’ve also started to plan the other things I want in life.

I’ve started reading The Secret again. This book explains the Laws of Attraction. I truly believe in this and I’ve started applying this to my daily thoughts. Good thoughts attract good things.

I’ve had a few things go wrong this trip and before I might have allowed that to put me in a bad mood but you know what, it didn’t. Everything happens for a reason and it’s ok.

The thermal baths were huge! I very nearly didn’t explore indoors but I’m so glad I did. There were about 17 pools. All varying temperatures and offering different health benefits. There were steam rooms and saunas with lovely scents. There was even a beer bath. You pay a certain amount and you stay in a spa with hops and maze and drink unlimited beer for the time you’re in it (I didn’t do it but I know a certain brother and brother in law that would love it!).

I decided to leave the spa and get the train back towards the hotel. The ticket cost just over £1 and it was a cool experience seeing the tiny stations.

I found a lovely place for lunch. The ambience was so traditional and quaint. I spent time just taking it in and eating some yummy cake and drinking mulled wine.

I headed back to the airport at 3pm. That was pretty early considering my flight wasn’t until 6:40pm but that’s the joys of arranges transfers.

I would usually have a slightly later flight home but it just worked out the best flight landed back at 8:30pm. This is better for a Sunday evening as I need to be rested for work on Monday.

As always, this has been a lovely trip. I’ve been a bit antisocial this trip. I’ve avoided conversations with strangers and I hadn’t even been on my phone that much. I wanted some me time. Lots of reflection and gratitude time.

I liked Budapest but I wouldn’t rave about it. Go if you get the chance but it’s probably not my favorite city I’ve visited.

Nassau - part two

After our lovely day in Cozumel, the captain announced another itinerary change (sixth one I think) and instead of visiting Costa Maya, we were heading back to Nassau.

Obviously most people were not too impressed as many have visited Nassau multiple times. I was hoping the weather would be better so I could enjoy the paradise island.

I decided to book a shore excursion to Atlantis. I had visited the Atlantis in Dubai and had an amazing time shooting down the water slides and admiring the marine life.

The Atlantis in The Bahamas is the original one. You assume the original would be the best - sadly I was disappointed.

The excursion cost $159 so it wasn't cheap. That included the transfer to and from the resort but that was it.

When I looked at the map, it looked pretty big however it struck me as just a hotel resort. Lots of swimming pools and a handful of slides.

The one thing I wanted to do in The Bahamas was to swim in the sea. I headed straight to the stunning beach and tried to go in however it was pretty choppy and soon enough I was whistled at to not enter the sea.

After not being allowed in the sea, it was time for some rides. I think in total there were maybe 8 slides and Rapids. For the steep entrance fee, that's not enough.

The first slide I did takes you through the shark tank. I was so excited to see these beautiful creatures but it was quite foggy inside the tube so it was better viewing them from the outside.

I was desperate to swim in the ocean so it was time to try again. I went to another beach, it looked less choppy so I tried to go in but again I got that damn whistle. By this point I went up to the lifeguard and asked where I could swim in the sea and he directed me around to another beach. Time for a quick handstand on route.

I finally made it into the sea. It was worth the wait. The sea was a beautiful blue colour and so warm.

After exploring the rest of the resort, and being pretty underwhelmed, it was time to head back to the port. I wanted to get some rum cake to take home and decided to buy all six of the small ones to give some out as presents.

Back on the ship, it was time for some Dutch courage and to try the flow rider. I've got pretty good balance however I was so nervous. When you fall off, it looked liked it hurt. Thankfully it didn't.

It was formal night again so I got to wear my second floor length dress. I've only worn this dress once to my lovely friends wedding so it was good to wear it again.

It was lobster night and the food was delicious!

At dinner I was sharing a table with three lovely couples. They were all around my age so after dinner they asked me if I'd like to join them at the comedy show. I'd seen the show before but it was still so good as they feed off the audience.

After the comedy show, we headed to the Irish pub where an amazing singer was taking requests. One of the guys thought it would be a good idea to have an Irish Car Bomb - it wasn't a good idea!!

After the singer stopped, we headed to the night club in the Solarium, the music was great but it was so hot!!

Next up was a quick stop by the casino. I wanted to play some Blackjack. I bet $50 in total and had $30 profit left when I decided to 'go big', I lost it all opps.

After a lot of drink, it was 3am and time for pizza before heading to bed. It was such a fun night and it was so good spending some time with people my own age.

Today (Saturday) is my last day on the cruise. I've had an amazing time. I've met some fun and interesting people. I've managed to switch off from work (this is the first holiday in three years where I haven't checked my work emails) perhaps that's because I've handed my notice in before I left so that's helped me relax.

I definitely recommend cruising and I'd happily do another one. I think I've spoilt myself being on the largest cruise fleet. There's been so much to do, it's been a blast. How can you not love a ship this big?

Next up Cozumel... oh and Hurricane Nate.

Tuesday, I spent my first full day at sea. We departed Nassau at approximately 6:30pm Monday night and didn't arrive into Cozumel until 9:00am Wednesday.

I wondered if I'd get a little 'cabin fever' however I didn't as there is so much to do on the ship.  I started the day off with breakfast at Central Park and I made a new little friend called CoCo (luckily that's just his little nickname). This adorable baby who was so sweet bless him.

I wanted to catch some sun so I spent some time by the pool sunbathing. Apparently Brazilian bikini bottoms are not the done thing here. In my defence, most women wear the most coverage swimsuits due to being slightly larger in size.

After lunch, I had a slot pull organised. Over 100 people bet $15. We all won $8 and lost two hours of our lives!

After some relaxing (and disappointing slot poll), I figured it was time for some adrenaline so I went to the rock climbing wall.

I've done rock climbing a little before but this seemed very high!! My legs were literally like jelly. Thank god I have good upper body strength! I'm shocked but I actually made it to the top.

After that excitement it was time to get ready for dinner. I was pretty tired so soon after dinner I decided to have an early night.

I woke up nice and early as I wanted to go for a jog before breakfast. I forgot how difficult is it to run in the heat! The view along the jogging track was lovely though.

I decided to book an excursion for Cozumel (pretty much Daddy and sisters orders) so I booked a nice safe ATV tour in the jungle to the Jade Caves.

I wasn't sure what exactly an ATV was but it turns out it's a quad bike. Turns out this bad boy got a top speed of 45MpH (sorry Daddy).

The cave was crap but I loved riding through the muddy water and getting it everywhere. I kept squeaking with excitement.

After the tour, it was time to do some shopping. I saw a lovely tanzanite tennis bracelet for $179 that I loved! I didn't even think I could haggle so I simply bought it. I'm hoping it's not a dud. I'm going to speak to the shopping team onboard to check.

I did however managed to haggle a good deal on cigars for my boyfriend. The deal is, he doesn't smoke it infront of me though.

After the shopping there was time for a quick photo and back onto the ship.

Back onboard it was margarita time (Daddy's orders), then the Captain came over the speaker system to say due to another hurricane heading straight to Costa Maya (WTF!) we were being diverted back to Nassua.

Now I must admit, I pretty much went white as a ghost when I heard that. I know that they have some sophisticated systems to check on the weather and ensure our safety but there's still a worry that someone fucks up!

Even tonight I've noticed the ship moving a lot!! It's swaying loads. I watched one of the shows and I just kept watching the curtains swaying.

I'm currently in the Champagne Bar and I've decided the best way to deal with this is to drink to forget. I'm currently on cocktail number two so it may take some time.

Wish me luck guys...

The Bahamas- paradise?!?

I was so excited when I saw The Bahamas was first up on my itinerary. I picture The Bahamas with pure white saves, crystal clear waters and those adorable swimming pigs.

It slightly went downhill when I realised The Bahamas was made up of 700 islands and of course the pigs were miles away from Nassau where I'd be docking.

I woke up fairly early again (6:00am on holiday - damn jet lag) so I got myself sorted and headed to American Icon for breakfast. One word - wow!

The service was incredible and the choice was so good. I had a leisurely breakfast then headed off the ship to explore.

It was so quick to get off the ship. A quick swipe of my seapass and the longest walk along the pier.

It was the first time I'd properly seen Allures of the Sea in her true glory. She is huge!! I couldn't even fit her all into my picture.

I decided I'd explore Nassua on my own. I knew a few places I wanted to visit and then I had planned on relaxing on the beach however the Caribbean weather decided to cause havoc.

After wandering around for half an hour, with lots of friendly locals saying hi, I found the Queens staircase. Wow! How disappointing. It was literally 50 steps next to a man made waterfall.

Next up was Fort Fincastle. It cost $3 to explore what would have been done in 10 minutes had the heavens not opened.

I luckily managed to seek shelter in the fort for a while. It gave me time to plan my next move.

Next up was a little shopping at The Straw Market. There wasn't anything in particular that I wanted to buy however four fridge magnets, two baseball caps and a bracelet later, I left the market.

It was time for another heavens to open, so naturally Starbucks was calling. This shower went on for some time so luckily they had wifi and good coffee.

I had intended to spend the afternoon on the beach however the rubbish weather steered me away. I still had to check it out though.

After so much rain, I thought I'd head back onboard. I stopped for a delicious salad for lunch then headed to the solarium.

It was lovely sipping cocktails in the hot tub and looking out on the amazing view. I got chatting to some lovely people too.

After a chill out, I thought a good workout was in order. I felt so sick working out!! It was just weird running when the ship was so choppy.

After my workout, I was stretching when a guy approached me and asked if I was in the acrobatic show (it must have been the splits!).

Tonight was formal night. I love black tie so I was super getting dressed up. I went to American Icon for dinner and was sat with some lovely people. I've been so pleased with how friendly everyone is.

After dinner I had a quick flutter in the casino (I lost) but I got chatting to a lovely man called Tom who was celebrating his 60th birthday he was cruising with his girlfriend. He's a policeman in Canada and it was so interesting to hear about his job.

Soon it was time to head to the comedy show. My god they were funny. Why is it only comedians can say such close to the bone things (ripped anus anyone?).

I wanted to see the stars so I headed up to the top deck. It was a pretty clear night. It was so quiet up there, I managed to get a few cheeky photos.

It's currently nearly 1am and I'm on my 7th alcoholic drink (and I was worried I'd waste the beverage package). It's time for me to head for a late night snack (It's so easy to get food here) then head to bed.

I literally love cruising. Add alcohol, food, tax free shopping and im in!!!

I'm in Miami bitch

Ok so I'm sorry for swearing but as soon as I arrived in Miami, I had that song playing in my head.

The flight seemed so quick! Enough time for a snooze, couple of films and a pod cast. I changed the time on my watch to Miami time as soon as I board and tried to follow the jet lag rules of acting as if you're already in the destination.

Maybe a little early to be drinking vodka opps!

I love the feeling you get when you step outside and the heat hits you. I hopped in a taxi and headed straight to my hotel.

The Halls South Beach was an amazing authentic Hispanic style hotel. Think white wash walls, court yard pool and lots of white cotton.

I wanted to explore the area so as soon as I showered, I headed out for a walk. First stop was Miami South Beach. It was stunning! Such a huge Beach which I bet in the height of summer it is buzzing.

Whilst walking around people are really 'friendly'. Ok they're not friendly, they're creeps. Guys always making comments on my appearance and the worst was a dude offering my some "excellent cocaine". This was at 5:00pm in the afternoon.

I headed to Senior Frogs for dinner. I remember walking past it in Mexico and it looked like great fun. The portions are huge so I'm glad I only ordered a quesadilla.

After dinner I grabbed an uber and headed to Marlins Park to watch my second ever baseball game. I vaguely knew what was going on (think of rounders on an American scale).

Sadly jet lagged was kicking in early so by 9:30pm it was time to head back to the hotel. I slept like a baby however the excitement (and probably still jet lag) was in full force and I was wide awake at 5:30am. I managed to snooze a little more but decided I had to get up and explore.

I love going for a jog in the morning. It's the perfect way to exercise and also explore the area. I headed along the beach in search of Muscle Beach. What a disappointment! There was barely any equipement and no Vin Diesel insight.

After my morning jog, I decided to check out the Botanical Gardens. Pedro (I'm pretty sure that wasn't his name but it sounds fitting) explained to me that the gardens had only just reopened two days prior as they had so much damage from the hurricanes. He said sadly all the koi carpe had died as there was no power for weeks and a poisonous tree fell into the pond.

Right by the Gardens was the beautiful memorial. It felt so peaceful walking around and looking at the stunning pond lillies.

It was time to think about heading to the port to start my cruise. Again I booked an uber as it's  easier (and cheaper) than the normal taxis. I had a great conversation with my driver about Trump, general work ethics in America and global warming.

As soon as I arrived to the port, I got butterflies. I couldn't believe how huge Allures of the Seas is. It was time to start the next exciting travel journey.

Who books a Caribbean cruise during hurricane season?

Honestly, who books a Caribbean cruise during hurricane season, of course I do!

I very rarely have 'blonde moments' (Daddy may disagree with that comment) however I genuinely didn't realise it was currently hurricane season in the Caribbean. I'm a little miffed my travel agent (Trail Finders) didn't point this fact out to me when I was booking my trip back in July.

I want to start off by saying how badly I feel for everyone affected by the Hurricanes Irma and Maria. It's truly awful the destruction and lives these storms have affected. My heart really does go out to those people.

I know I'm being a bit selfish for being disappointed with the latest (and I imagine final) itinerary change to my cruise. Originally I had booked this 7 night cruise which would visit The Bahamas, Charlotte Amelie (U.S. Virgin Islands) and St. Kitts. I was excited to have two new countries to tick off.

Shortly after booking, the trip was amended to remove St. Kitts and replace with Puerto Rico. I always wanted to visit PR, and after some time of trying to figure out whether it's a new country (it's not, it's technically part of the USA), I was still made up with the change. I'd planned to visit multiple places in San Juan. I was considering hiring a bike and exploring solo.

Then the hurricanes came. At first, I was pretty calm about it. I still had a few weeks before the trip so I assumed they'd just switch some ports and they did. Sadly Charlotte Amelie was out due to the damage. It's so sad to see this beautiful island so badly damaged.

This port was replaced with Hati. I thought excellent, another country (yes I'm a country whore).

That was short lived with the next hurricane Maria arriving. Maria has practically wiped Puerto Rico out. The whole island has been without power.

At first I thought such a first world problem thing of "oh no how can they use phones/wifi etc" but after my superficial comment I realised what about those poor people on life support machines? What about being able to cook? And even what about those poor children scared of the dark?

Here's me worrying about another holiday and these people life's are destroyed. It helps put things into perspective.

Because of Maria, my itinerary has been changed again. Now it's The Bahamas and two places in Mexico.

Again straight away I was so upset. I've been to Mexico twice before. The last time I visited was in 2012. I travelled from Belize to Playa del Carmen via boat. As soon as we arrived at the port, we were shouted at to get off the boat and line up our luggage. We were surrounded by police with machine guns and sniffer dogs. I'd never been so scared before.

I've travelled to a fair few countries and although Mexico is beautiful, it probably the one place I've felt the most unsafe.

I'm now in the predicament of do I even get off the ship at these ports? Of course I want to. I'd like to see some more of Mexico but there's no way I'll be wandering around alone now. If I decide to get off, I will have to book excursions. I'll even book the excursions direct with Royal Caribbean.

I foolishly read the travel advice issued by the UK government on Mexico - it's pretty dire. I know they're just covering all eventualities but still I don't want to be kidnapped! I think I need to learn some Spanish. How do you say "my family is poor and won't pay to buy me back?"

I'm making light of the situation. You have to! I already had my sister in tears at the weekend worried about me but they really don't neee to be worried.

I'm sure my trip will be perfectly safe. I'm a travel smart girl. I won't be taking anything too expensive with me. I'll stay with the tour group (if I do decide to do excursions) and I know general travel smart advice.

A cruise wasn't on my travel list initially, it was a typical impulsive decision on my part. In future I'll do a bit more research into my destinations (and seasonal weather). I hear Cyprus is a very safe place to travel to, especially with a nice man to protect me.

Ibiza Blast - Day 2. Did the hulk jizz on me...?

I had to title this blog after a good friend commented on one of the photos I posted :-)

I woke up on Day 2 feeling fairly fresh faced, I did however also wake up with a lot of glitter on my chest! Now, I sometimes have a slight issue when I drink alcohol whereby I literally forget sections of the night (AKA Blackout) - the glitter incident was one of them.

At breakfast I saw one of the girls from the tour, she was covered in glitter, she also had a bandage around her leg. Turns out she got glittered the night before and that's how the glitter got on to me (I'm still unsure of the exact story how it got onto me though...).

It also turns out, the poor girl decided it would be fun to go swimming in the hotel pool and tried to climb over the rather high fence with spike railings - the spikes won and she ended up in an ambulance and several stitches. She actually showed me a picture of the wound and I literally nearly fainted (how am I a first aider?).

After a quick breakfast, a group of us heading down to the beach to the inflatable assault course in the sea. I've seen these on a few of my holidays and they looked like so much fun. It was such a hard workout! I generally have great upper body strength (thanks to Pole) but even I struggling lugging myself up and down on the slippery inflatables.

Back on shore it was time to head out for a group lunch. We went to an Italian restaurant called David's. They had a good offer for a set menu. For three courses, it was only EUR12.50. Annoyingly because our group was so large, we ended up sitting on a table of four whilst the rest of the group sat together. Even more annoyingly, I never got my damn ice cream!

It was time to head back to the hotel to start getting ready for the pre cruise party. I had no idea what to wear so I ended up wearing a rather bright yellow sun dress over my bikini. We headed to Rio's for pre drinks and to get (officially) glittered. For some reason I decided green would match my yellow dress, hence the comment of looking like the Incredible Hunk had left his mark on me lol

The bar overlooked the incredible harbour. The views were amazing on a sunny day - and the strawberry daiquiri went down a treat.

Heading over to get the Pukka boat there was a huge fight between a group of guys and the security team on the boat. It really frightened me as there was bloody coming from the guys face and one guy looked like he was going to snap another mans neck. I tried to stay as far away as possible and obviously the guys were not allowed on the boat but it certainly wasn't the best start to the evening.

Luckily on-board the fight was soon forgotten and the drinks and tunes were flowing. We got chatting to some lovely Canadian guys and they stuck around to party with us. They were shocked when I said I was 31. I will certainly take the beer google compliment of passing for a 25 year old.

The party boat was great fun but it was soon time to head back to dry land. We disembarked the boat at 9:00pm and wasn't due to meet the group again until just before mid night. I was pretty hungry so decided to have a naughty chicken wrap.

Whilst walking back to the hotel, I saw an amazing red dress in the shop window - I had to try it on! Sadly the red dress didn't look as nice on me however the lady in the shop picked me out a gorgeous black skirt with a bra top. I'd never dream of wearing something like this at home however I figured girls walk around with only body paint/glitter on so I might as well embrace the less is more mantra in Ibiza.

After an expensive purchase (EUR60) I headed back to the hotel for a nap. Yes, you heard that right! I knew it was going to be a long one so I figured an hour power nap would work a treat and it did.

The tour group headed over to Eden night club where we had a VIP section with bottle service. We each paid EUR150 between the four of us and we had so much vodka and mixer. The music was pretty varied but I really enjoyed watching the incredible dancers.

Whilst we were all cutting some shapes, my little roomies handbag fell on to the dance floor and out popped all her content - including condoms! The poor girl was mortified and once I'd stopped giggling, I did manage to help her.

There were a few VIP sections and when I headed back to ours, I noticed an older lady helping herself to our Vodka. Everyone was looking but I had to say something. She was completely off her head then I explained it was our area she was in. The poor women was so embarrassed and came back over with her vodka to give us some.

Before I knew it, it was around 5.30am and time to think about heading back to the hotel. The girls I shared a room with, were a tad merry so I felt like the big older sister trying to make sure they were ok getting back to the hotel.

After feeding them a yummy kebab, it was time to walk. Well it was time to walk as one of the girls climbed on top of a plastic table after being asked to 'twerk' and managed to break it - opps. The named girly then did her best 'Forest Gump' impression and was running ahead (this I'm assuming is all good practice for when I have kids).

Luckily I wasn't alone in my efforts of bringing the 'yeahdagirls' back home. Whilst I occupied one, my buddy ran after Mr. Gump. We all managed to get back to the hotel fairly unharmed (except for that table!). I thought I was in the home run, back in our rooms until the booty call took place. I guess as Selena says 'The heart wants what it wants' or whatever the filthy equivalent is for Ibiza. I decided to relieve myself of babysitting duties and go to sleep, by this time the sun was up and the birds were chirping.
